What is the Mukhya Mantri Parivar Samridhi Yojana?
  • The Mukhya Mantri Parivar Samridhi Scheme will cover all EWS families with an income of up to Rs. 1,80,000/- and with land holdings up to 2 Hectares, together with small business people with an annual turnover up to 1.5 Cr. Each Family covered under the scheme is going to be eligible for benefits of Rs 6000 per annum, which utilized for payment of the beneficiary share of the centrally sponsored programs for Pension and Insurance.
  • The number left unspent within Family account going to be invested into a Family Provident Fund, the accounts of which can be available online together with details of the interest thereon. Eligibility of Mukhya Mantri Parivar Samridhi Yojana?
  • This scheme is only for permanent families residing in the state of Haryana. If you apply for MMPSY Yojna, the conditions are given below must be fulfilled-
  • The applicant should be a permanent resident of Haryana.
  • The families have an income up to INR 15,000 per month or INR 1,80,000 every year and a complete landholding of the family up to 5 acres, i.e. 2 hectares.
  • You must have a Family ID, i.e. family identity (Parivar Pehchan Patra Number).

  • The aim of Mukhya Mantri Parivar Samridhi Yojana MMPSY is to provide social and financial security to all the eligible individual families of Haryana State in terms of life/casualty insurance cover, pension benefits. Mukhya Mantri Parivar Samridhi is an excellent initiative of the Haryana government.
  • Under the Mukhya Mantri Parivar Samridhi (MMPS) Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Laghu Vyapari Yojana, and Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana also added.
What are the Benefits of Mukhya Mantri Parivar Samridhi Yojana?
  • Every family will be entitled to INR 6,000 per year under this scheme.
  • All eligible members between the age of 18-50 will be paid a premium of INR 330 per year under life insurance under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY).
  • All eligible members of the suitable age group of 18-70 years will be paid Rs 12 per year on the amount of accident insurance under the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY).
  • If applicable, the farmer families availing the scheme will pay the premium amount to be paid by the farmer under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Bima Yojana (PMFBY).
  • The amount is falling under Rs. 55-200 per month (i.e., beneficiary contribution based on his age) will be paid based on participation for providing pension:

i) Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Man-Dhan Yojana (PMSYMY) or
ii) Prime Minister Laghu Vyapari Manthan Yojana (PMLVMY) or
iii) Pradhan Mantri Kisan-Dhan Yojana (PM-KMY)

  • The beneficiary in the age group of 18-40 years Pension will be payable at the rate of Rs 3,000 per month on attaining 60 years of age to the recipient. Pension options must use for at least one family member in the eligible age group.
  • For all the schemes given above, the beneficiary’s contribution under MMPSY will take by the Haryana Government. The gift of the Central Government, where applicable, will be made by the Government of India.
  • The remaining amount (after deducting the consolidated amount of premium/contribution for all social security options), if any, can be withdrawn in cash by the eligible family or invested in a specially designed family future. Fund (FPF). Under this option, the family will get returns from the investments made by the Haryana government in FPF on behalf of the eligible family.
